CENTENNIAL XEMC DRIVE THE WORLD.

XEMC Group is a large backbone enterprise in China's electrical industry and a key state-owned enterprise in Hunan Province. It is a national major technology equipment localization research and development base, a national high-tech industrialization base, and a national innovative enterprise established by the State Council. Formerly known as the Central Electrical Equipment Factory of the Resource Committee, established in 1936, it was renamed XEMC Group Co., Ltd. in 2007.  As of the end of 2022, the group has 4 wholly-owned subsidiaries and 4 holding subsidiaries, with over 5000 employees on duty.

Jiang Zemin, then General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee and Chairman of the Central Military Commission, inspected the factory and praised XEMC as the cradle of China's electrical products.

On its maiden participation in a domestic tender for 12-tonne engineering vehicles, the company prevailed over more than ten foreign enterprises to secure the contract. Thereafter, China ceased importing such vehicles.

The successful development of China's first SF3100 108-tonne electric wheel dump truck for mining applications has met urgent industry demands and replaced imported foreign models.
