The formulator of industry standards

XEMC is based in Xiangtan, China, a historic city that is the birthplace of Chairman Mao Zedong, the founding father of the People's Republic of China. It originated from the Central Electric Equipment Factory of the Resources Committee, established in 1936, and changed its name to Xiangtan Electric MFG. Group Corporation Ltd. in 2007. As of the end of 2023, the Group has four wholly-owned subsidiaries, occupies an area of over 1900 mu (313 acres), and employs more than 5000 staff.

On April 24, Xiangtan Electric Manufacturing Co.,Ltd.(XEMC) held the "Nine Ranks of Rongguang Intelligent Sail" marine electrical product new product launch conference in Xiangtan, officially launching a series of high-end marine electrical core equipment such as 19,000 TEU high-power permanent magnet shaft generators, 10,000-ton ship main thruster/side thruster motors, and simultaneously releasing comprehensive solutions for the entire ship industry chain. The release of this new product cluster has filled many technical gaps in my country's high-end ocean-going ship power equipment.
